I am using garage band, and am the ultimate definition of beginner. I was using drum loops today, and it told me to drag them to insert them into the song. How can I do this? Also, is there a way to hear them without disabling the trackpad commander, then clicking and hoping that you don't go somewhere crazy? Thank you. I am using a mac book, so I have a trackpad (in case this is needed).

I don't use the loops often, but here's what I remember.
You can just copy aand paste the loops into the timeline, just command c and command v respectively.
To listen to them, I believe the command is command+shift+l.
To resize them, simply interact with the region in question and move the loop resizing handle, unless you use snow leopard in which case you want to use the resize command.
